Stacks of cork flooring

On Monday we walked over to the Turtle Pool and the downstream around the small hill.

There are picture of the Turtle Pool. There are turtles and fish barely visible in some of these pictures.

While walking upstream we almost stepped on this bay deer hiding in the grasses. It didn't seem afraid, and we were very tempted to try to pet it, but agreed that would be a bad idea. No sign of any other deer; hopefully they too were hiding from the sun.
